Why the Liquid Fast?

Improved Cardiovascular Health

Liquid fasting has been shown in studies to decrease lipid peroxidation. This  is the process by which free radicals “steal” necessary electrons from the lipids in cell membranes, which results in cell damage.

Liquid fasting also increases nitric oxide concentration. Nitric oxide is a well-known vasodilator, meaning it improves arterial flexibility. The lack of nitric oxide leads to arterial stiffness and high blood pressure.This combination of decreased lipid peroxidation and increased nitric oxide concentration results in an improved cardiovascular system and overall health.

Improved Immune System

The increase in nitric oxide concentration has been shown to improve immune system functionality by increasing the efficiency of the innate immune response while inhibiting inflammatory cells.

Improved Digestion

Liquid fasting has been clinically proven to increase some of the “good” gut bacteria related to improved digestion while decreasing bad bacteria implicated within indigestion, diarrhea, Crohn’s disease and diverticulitis, thus improving the gut microbiome.

Reduced Inflammation

The action of nitric oxide has been indicated in the control and elimination of infectious pathogens, in T and B cell differentiation, and in tumor inhibition. Increased nitric oxide concentration inhibits the inflammatory immune cells that are responsible for chronic pain especially in the joints of the ankles, knees, hips, elbows, shoulders and in the upper and lower back.

This includes the total abstinence from all solid foods:

  • No Food 
  • No Fruit
  • No Vegetables
  • No Chewing Gum
  • No Smoothies
  • No Juices
  • No Alcohol
  • No Sex
  • No Smoking/Vaping

The Liquids

There are only 3 permitted forms of liquids aside from the electric pHood supplements:

  1. Spring Water
  2. Coconut Water
  3. Structured Water

4 Day Re-Assimilation

4 Day Re-Assimilation

After abstaining from food for 2 whole weeks the intestines will need to gradually become accustomed to hard food digestion to avoid indigestion, stomach cramping, and in some cases intestinal wall breach. The Re-Assimilation Meal Plan provides the perfect dishes to gently train your digestive organs back into hard food digestion. We recommend a minimum of 3 to 4 solid bowel movements before returning to “normal” food.

  • Do not reintroduce “bad foods” back into your diet
  • Utilize the Life AfterDetox Meal Plan as the basis for your new staple diet
  • Continue taking your supplements especially if you suffer from a chronic condition
  • Continue practicing the Qi Gong exercises
  • Continue with cold shower rinsing
  • Continue improving your exercise regimen
